FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF are the two top football clubs in the world. The two clubs share 63 LaLiga titles between them with 36 titles held by Real Madrid whereas 27 by FC Barcelona.
FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are the rivals in the Spanish League. Their rivalry started in the first edition of the LaLiga in 1929 resulting in the title victory of FC Barcelona with just 2 points more than tha runner-ups Madrid FC.
The rivalry between the two sides have several reasons:
Madrid is the largest city as well as the capital of Spain.
FC Barcelona is the capital of the autonomous community of Catalonia, which has a movement of independence going on.
The match has a political view that gives light to Real Madrid CF as representing Spain whereas FC Barcelona as representing Catalonia.
The game has a global fan base and a huge influx of money is there.
There have been 34 seasons of LaLiga in which both of them fought for the first position and both the clubs are known to sign the greatest players with competition like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
As we all know that these two players have had the greatest comparison for being the best in football. And the results have always been in the mix. And we will never have a unanimous vote in the comparison.
The last LaLiga season 2023-2024 was won by the galacticos with Barcelona in second position. We are also witnessing the between these two elite clubs. As of now, FC Barcelona is ahead of the Real Madrid CF by 7 points after playing 32 and 31 games respectively. FC Barcelona is in great form with Raphinha in his prime and Lamine Yamal charming fans with his skills while Robert Lewandowski leading on the goal scorer tally.
After Real Madrid getting knocked out of the UEFA Champions League to the Gunners, the Real Madrid squad would either be so low considering they own the UEFA Champions League or be in anguish and might become more dangerous and look towars winning the LaLiga.

The injury of Dani Carvajal slowed the Madistras down for sometime, but Real Madrid is known for the comebacks.
Two El Clasicos are there in the month of April and May each. On 26th April it's the Copa Del Rey final and on 11th May it's the second game of this LaLiga season between the two sides.
11th May is a highly anticipated game as Real Madrid would look to have revenge of the last El Clasico and this game could become a decider of the the winner of the LaLiga 2024-25.
