When Zlatan Ibrahimovic revealed the truth about Messi. His comments are shocking!

Zlatan Ibrahimovic as we all know is a football sensation who is retired now.

Zlatan is known for his aggressive attitude, witty answers and acrobatics.

The puskas award winner has represented many teams such as Ajax, Inter Milan, AC Milan, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, PSG and more.

He held a good scoring record wherever he played.

But his time in FC Barcelona wasn't that great. Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is used to the spotlight wasn't getting the same treatment there and we all know you can't have the spotlight if Lionel Messi is playing in the same side. This was hard for a character like Zlatan and started having problems in the squad.

According to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he was not fitting into the environment of the squad and people often had issues with his outspoken nature; he even referred to the players of FC Barcelona as "like school boys". Funny as ever as Zlatan is but there were problems. He once commented that "I was the tallest player on the field, yet Xavi and Iniesta could see only Messi".

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pep Guardiola

According to Zlatan and other sources, Pep Guardiola created all the strategies of the game with Messi having the best part of it, though Messi is a legend and has produced many moments of magic, this thing didn't settle well with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and he felt that he was getting sacrificed for the new strategies of Pep Guardiola.

One reddit user commented, "The reason according to Ibra himself was that when Messi started moving to the center, the system was adjusted and Ibra was stripped of the freedom on the field he needed to succeed. Ibra didn't like that and openly criticised Pep for his choice of tactic. That didn't end well. Ibra later openly called Pep a spineless coward with no balls and Messi and other Barca players a bunch of schoolboys. If you have that kind of attitude at work, you are doomed for failure, no matter how talented you are."

Every manager has a different strategy and sees players in their own way and uses them accordingly on the pitch.

Pep Guardiola doesn't like players with attitude and that was also a problem for him with Zlatan that made the relationship bitter.

Zlatan has also said things like, "in the club (FC Barcelona) no player can be bigger than Messi", taking a dig at the club and manager.

Well, for Zlatan, getting out of the club was healthy and he had a good record wherever he went.
